Tough Loss for the Astros in Baltimore
Hey Astros fans!
Game Highlights
The action started with Jeremy Peña, who took off with a single to left in the first inning and managed to steal third during Jose Altuve's at-bat. Although we couldn't capitalize early, this was just a glimpse of his tenacity. In the bottom of the 1st, Gunnar Henderson gave the Orioles a 1-0 lead with a 392-foot homer. But don't worry, we tied it up in the 3rd when Peña singled to center, bringing in Cam Smith who had walked and stolen second.

A Close Fight but Short of Victory
Things remained tight till the 6th when Hendrickson's speed led him to steal second and third base and then score off Ryan Mountcastle’s single, giving the Orioles a 2-1 lead. Our deficit widened slightly in the 7th after Vimael Machin homered to center, making it 3-1.We showed some resilience in the 8th. Victor Caratini pinch-hit and hit a sacrifice fly to left. This allowed Carlos Correa, who’d singled earlier, to score, closing the gap to 3-2. Alas, we couldn’t quite pull off the comeback magic in the 9th despite Peña giving his best.
Final Thoughts
It’s never easy taking a loss, but there were undoubtedly positives to take from this game. Jeremy Peña looked solid both at bat and on the bases, and Carlos Correa was consistent as ever. We’ll regroup and come back stronger for the next one. Keep your heads up, fellow Astros fans!
Let’s continue supporting our team and look forward to better days ahead.
