Our pitching staff held strong against the Astros' lineup, with starter Criswell keeping their bats mostly silent. Shoutout to Garrett Whitlock and Chapman for their seamless relief work, which really allowed us to stay in the game. Christian Walker might have briefly dampened spirits with his homer in the second inning, but our defense was sharp and didn’t allow anything more from the Astros’ offense. They stayed composed, even under pressure, showcasing the grit and determination we’re known for.

Our offense took a bit of time to warm up, but when it mattered most, they delivered. In the 7th inning, Trevor Story's hustle led to a key score thanks to Wilyer Abreu's sacrifice fly. The heart-stopping moment came when Roman Anthony singled in the 10th inning. His hit brought in Abreu for the winning run, sending Fenway into a frenzy!
