A First Inning Spark
Right from the start, the Houston Astros proved they meant business against the New York Yankees in this electrifying showdown. After falling out at shortstop, Jesus Sánchez singled to center because he sensed the promising vibe. Moments later, our hero, Jose Altuve

A Tight Battle
Both teams put up a relentless fight, with the Yankees trying to close the gap. Our defense held strong, keeping the Yankees scoreless through five innings. Altuve doubled in the 5th inning, but the inning ended without additional runs. However, things heated up in the 6th inning. The Yankees managed to score two runs, tying the game at 2-2. Not to worry, though, as Sousa and Abreu stepped in to control the situation effectively.
Extra-Inning Heroics
As the game extended into the 10th inning, the tension was palpable. Carlos Correa came through for us when it mattered most, singling to center to bring Altuve home after he aggressively advanced to third on a wild pitch. With the lead reclaimed, Taylor Trammell delivered the final blow, hitting a two-run homer with 383 feet to right-center field, boosting our lead to 5-2.

Final score: Astros 5, Yankees 3. It was a grueling yet thrilling matchup, demonstrating the resilience and prowess of our boys! Go Astros!
