A Rough Ending for the Astros in Seattle

The Houston Astros started off strong tonight, but unfortunately, their efforts weren't enough to overcome the Seattle Mariners. In a nail-biting game that went down to the wire, the Astros fell 6-7. Our boys showed some serious grit, though! ⚾💪

Astros Take Command Early

The Astros jumped ahead in the 2nd inning, capitalizing on some well-timed hits. Jake Meyers kicked off the scoring with a clutch single to bring home Jeremy Peña. Then, with contributions from Cam Smith and José Altuve, Houston took a solid 3-0 lead. Meyers and Smith truly set the ball rolling for us. Go Astros! 🎉

Maintaining Momentum

Brendan Rodgers added to the scoreboard in the 3rd inning following a walk, making it 4-0 for Houston. Meanwhile, the Astros' pitchers and defense held the Mariners scoreless for most of the game. Our fans were in high spirits, and the excitement was real. Let's go, Astros! 🙌

The Comeback & a Crushing Blow

The Mariners didn't score until a monster homer from Randy Arozarena in the 8th inning. Despite our 5-run buffer, it all came undone in the 9th. Seattle managed to score three more times, and a walk-off walk sealed the deal for the Mariners. It's a tough loss for us, but we'll bounce back. Stay strong, Houston fans! The season is far from over! 🚀

Here's to an Astros win next time! 🌟
