A Tough Day for the Royals Offense

Diamondbacks Start to Pull Away
The Diamondbacks started to gain some traction in the third inning. After Perdomo was hit by a pitch and Smith walked, Josh Naylor singled to drive in the first run. Eugenio Suárez followed it up with another single, bringing in another run and putting Arizona ahead 2-0. Try as we might, the Royals’ efforts didn't quite match up though Freddy Fermin managed a nice single in the 6th which Bobby Witt Jr. capitalized on to finally get us on the scoreboard, 4-1.Diamondbacks Seal the Win
Despite a valiant fight, the Diamondbacks secured their victory with runs driven by Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and a late two-run homer from Randal Grichuk making it a 7-1 game. Our boys struggled to retaliate, and their closing efforts fell short in the ninth inning. With Witt Jr. popping out and Pasquantino striking out again, the Diamondbacks maintained their dominance through the end.It was a challenging match for us Royals fans, but as always, we'll be looking forward to the next game and hoping for a resurgence in our home team spirit!
