What a thrilling game, Astros fans! The Houston Astros added another victory to their tally with a nail-biting win over the Kansas City Royals, finishing 2-1. It was a gripping match and our Astros showed resilience until the very end. Let's dive into the highlights!
Slow Start for Both Teams 
The game got off to a slow start as both teams struggled to get runners across home plate. Our boys couldn't quite find rhythm early on. Kudos to Jeremy Peña who managed an infield single in the first, but the team couldn't capitalize on it. Jake Meyers reached base in the 4th but was caught stealing, keeping the score level at 0-0.
The Sparks Begin! 
The Royals managed to get ahead in the 5th inning with Freddy Fermin bringing in Maikel Garcia for the Royals' first and only score. It wasn't long before Jeremy Peña fired back for the Astros in the 6th with a powerful homer to the left, tying the score 1-1. What a shot, right?
The Clutch Moment by Paredes! 
The 9th inning is where the magic truly happened. With the score tied at 1-1, Isaac Paredes came up clutch, smashing a homer to left-center, securing the Astros' victory and sending fans into a frenzy!
