A Tough Battle from the Start

Well, Angels fans, it wasn't the night we hoped for as the Royals edged us out with an 8-4 victory. The game started on a shaky note for us. Maikel Garcia set the tone early with a double, followed by Bobby Witt Jr.'s single that put the Royals on the board via a wild pitch by Aldegheri. It was tough to see, but Salvador Perez added another run for the Royals with a single, making it 2-0 before we even had a chance to bat. 😓

Finding Some Groove in the Middle Innings

Although the Royals managed to tack on another run in the 5th, making it 3-0, we saw a spark of hope in the bottom of the inning thanks to Bryce Teodosio hitting a 394-foot homer with Christian Moore on base, bringing us within one run at 3-2. It was a beautiful moment and gave the crowd something to cheer about! 🎉 However, the Royals came back strong with a 2-run seventh inning and extended their lead to 5-2, causing a bit of a damper.

Closing Efforts & A Bit of Late Fireworks

In the 8th inning, the Royals pushed their lead further to 8-2, and despite a valiant effort with Taylor Ward hitting a homer and Jo Adell scoring on a passed ball in the 9th, it was not enough to overcome their lead. I'm proud of the team's fight, especially toward the end! Let's keep our spirits high and look forward to bouncing back stronger in the next game. Go Halos! 🔴⚾
