A Slow Start in San Francisco
Hey, Royals Nation!
Our Royals got off to a decent start, with Bobby Witt Jr. hitting a double in the top of the first inning. However, it was a tough inning for Jonathan India and Salvador Perez, leaving Witt Jr.'s valiant effort unrewarded. Both teams remained scoreless through seven innings, thanks in part to some stellar pitching and defense.
A Game-Changing 8th Inning
The real action kicked off in the 8th inning

Although the Giants managed to pull one back, our pitching, notably Andrew Schreiber, held firm to limit their damage. Pasquantino's home run clearly stole the show, sparking our comeback.
Sealing the Victory
With the tension running high, we entered the 9th inning. Maikel Garcia singled and thanks to a key play by Dairon Blanco assisting with a sacrifice bunt, he advanced and eventually crossed the plate after Kyle Isbel's single. This put us at 3-1, solidifying our lead. Finally, Carlos Estévez closed out the game in style. Despite a hit by the Giants’ LaMonte Wade Jr., Estévez ensured that any hope the Giants had was quickly extinguished by striking out Mike Yastrzemski to end the game.

What a game by our Kansas City Royals! This was a combination of tight pitching, timely hitting, and some daring base running. The West Coast hasn't seen excitement like this since we last visited! Let's keep the momentum rolling! Go Royals!
