Exciting Start
Our Los Angeles Angels kicked off the game with a bang
! After Zach Neto walked, it was none other than Mike Trout who smashed a colossal homer to left, bringing us up 2-0 early in the first. A solid single from Taylor Ward followed, but unfortunately, we couldn't drive more in as Logan O'Hoppe and LaMonte Wade Jr. made outs, leaving us with a 2-run lead to start.Angels Battle Through
The Orioles battled back in the third inning, managing to level the score at 3-3. But no worries, Luis Rengifo came alive in the sixth and sent a soaring home run to right, pushing us back to a 4-3 lead.
However, the bottom of the inning was not in our favor, as a couple of homers for the Orioles put them ahead 6-4. Ouch!Closing Drama
In the eighth inning, Luis Rengifo didn’t let us down; he launched another incredible homer, this time to right-center, cutting the Orioles' lead to 6-5. With tensions high, we held our breath through the ninth. Taylor Ward drew a walk, but despite giving it our all, the game ended heartbreakingly with Logan O'Hoppe striking out and the final score settled at 5-6. A tough loss, but hats off to Rengifo and Trout for their powerful performances!We'll bounce back strong, Angels!
