The strength of our pitchers was a sight to behold. From the get-go, our pitching rotation kept the Angels' lineup under control. The likes of Moll, Santillan, Gibaut, and Richardson showed relentless precision, striking out key batters and ensuring our defense was sharp. The Angels simply couldn't find a way to get past our formidable mound!
The Third Inning Breakthrough 
All the excitement unfolded in the bottom of the third. Austin Wynns began with a double, igniting the crowd. Although Blake Dunn followed up with another double and Wynns was thrown out at home, Matt McLain came through with a crucial single to score Dunn. That run was all we needed to capture the lead and ultimately the victory over the Angels. Cheers to McLain for stepping up when it mattered the most!
Defensive Highlights 
Our defense remained unyielding throughout the game. Not only did we pitch lights-out baseball, but plays like Tim Anderson being picked off and Paris getting thrown out at home in a clutch play by Vera made sure that the Angels never got a chance to shift the momentum in their favor.
