Padres' Early Power Surge
What a game, Padres fans!
The matchup against the Angeles kicked off with a bang when Luis Arraez got us going with a solid single to left. Then, Manny Machado followed up with a single of his own. But the real fireworks came when our man Xander Bogaerts smashed a three-run homer to the left, putting us ahead 3-0 in no time. 
It's always great to see the bats come alive early!Angels Fight Back, but Padres Pitching Holds Strong
The Angels tried to rally back in the second inning with Taylor Ward's solo shot, but that was all they could muster. Our pitching staff was fantastic; limiting their opportunities and keeping their threats in check. Throughout the game, we saw some great defensive plays and strategic pitching changes that kept the Angels guessing.
Lockridge Seals the Deal
The icing on the cake came in the 8th inning when Brandon Lockridge delivered a clutch single that brought home Xander Bogaerts and Manny Machado. That gave us a commanding 5-1 lead—enough for Robert Suarez to come in and shut the door in the 9th inning. What a save!
This victory was a total team effort, and it's wins like these that make being a Padres fan so rewarding. Way to go, Padres!
