Tough Loss for the Angels in Seattle
What a challenging game for our beloved Los Angeles Angels who faced off against the Seattle Mariners. Our boys put in their best effort on the field, but unfortunately, the Mariners outplayed us, taking the win with a final score of 11-2.
Early Struggles and a Few Bright Spots
The game looked promising at the start, but we couldn't find a rhythm. Mike Trout and Yoan Moncada both struck out swinging right at the top of the first. Meanwhile, the Mariners quickly gained momentum with a home run by Cal Raleigh, putting us in an early 2-0 hole. However, there was a moment of celebration as Christian Moore blasted a 420 feet home run in the fifth inning to bring us on the scoreboard!
A Game to Learn From
Despite the 11-2 loss, the team showed resilience with Peraza knocking a 375-foot homer in the 6th inning, and Denzer Guzman managing a couple of singles. More determination was seen from our pitchers, despite facing an uphill battle. It wasn't our day, but there are always lessons to be gleaned from games like these. We'll rally back stronger for the next one. Let's keep cheering our Angels on!
