Victory in Tampa! 
Angels fans, it was a nail-biting affair at Tropicana Field, but our boys pulled it off with a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. 
Early Lead with Paris Power 
The excitement began in the second inning when Nolan Schanuel drew a walk and Kyren Paris followed up with a booming two-run homer to center field! That 395-foot shot gave us an early 2-0 lead that had us jumping out of our seats! 
The Rays Rally 
Of course, the Rays weren't going down without a fight. By the bottom of the 7th, they had clawed their way back to a 3-2 lead, capitalizing on some key plays and an error. Our hearts skipped a beat when Junior Caminero, Christopher Morel, and Kameron Misner orchestrated a rally. 
Resilient Angels Fight Back 
But this game was far from over. In the top of the 8th, Luis Rengifo came through, helping to level the score at 3-3 as Jorge Soler doubled and Travis d'Arnaud grounded out to bring in Rengifo. Then it was the top of the 9th when things got exhilarating! After a Logan O'Hoppe single, Kevin Newman subbed in as a pinch-runner and eventually took the game lead when Rengifo singled to center, scoring Newman!
Holding the Line 
With a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the 9th, it was tense. Jose Caballero nearly turned the tide with a triple, but our bullpen, with Jansen at the helm, fiercely protected our advantage, maneuvering through multiple threats until Caballero struck out swinging to end the game. We've got to hand it to our defense for shutting down the Rays in crunch time! 
This is the type of grit and teamwork we love to see from our Angels! Let's carry this momentum forward. Fly high, Halos!
