A Close Battle at Rogers Centre
What a game it was for us Blue Jays fans at the Rogers Centre!
A Rollercoaster of Emotions
The game started on a bit of a rough note for us, as Mike Trout put the Angels on the scoreboard first with a solo homer in the first inning. But hold your horses, because our boys were just warming up! Vladimir Guerrero Jr. gave us some hope with his double later in the first, though we were unable to capitalize on that this time. But the tides turned in the 4th inning when Bo Bichette blasted an incredible 408-foot homer to left, leveling the score. Then, Joey Loperfido took center stage with a brilliant single that got Myles Straw home, giving us a narrow lead. Cheers all around!

Sealing the Victory
The Angels didn't go down quietly, tying the game again by the end of the 5th. But our Davis Schneider ensured we had the last laugh, driving in the winning run in the bottom of the 6th. Our bullpen did a fantastic job holding the Angels at bay for the rest of the game. Kenley Jansen came in clutch with a brilliant top of the 9th to seal the victory, striking out the dangerous Angels lineup.Shoutout to the boys for their resilience and skill! What a team effort!
