Dodgers Strike Early and Hold On for Victory! 
Hello Dodger fans! What a fantastic game we had in Denver as our boys took down the Rockies with a convincing 9-5 win! Right from the get-go, Freddie Freeman showed why he’s a force to be reckoned with. In the top of the 1st inning, after Mookie Betts drew a walk, Freddie Freeman launched an absolute rocket to center field, putting us up 2-0 right out of the gate! 
Adding to Our Lead 
The second inning was equally exciting! Though Will Smith was struck out and Dalton Rushing couldn't get on base, Andy Pages managed a double and later scored thanks to a little help from the Rockies’ defense. The rally continued with Miguel Rojas smartly bunt-singling to score Pages. By the time Michael Conforto hit a sacrifice fly in the 4th, the Dodgers were cruising comfortably with a 7-1 lead.Rockies Tried, Dodgers Denied! 
Sure, the Rockies tried to make a comeback, with Brenton Doyle knocking in a couple runs, including a homer in the 8th. But our bullpen had their number. Clayton Kershaw pitched effectively before handing it over to the relievers, who kept the Rockies at bay, ensuring their bats stayed mostly silent. Special shoutouts to Nick Casparius and Alex Vesia for shutting down potential threats! 
Offensive Highlights 
You know the Dodgers weren't done showing off. Andy Pages added a homer of his own, a majestic 409-footer in the 5th inning, to keep the Rockies at a distance. Later, Will Smith singled in an insurance run to secure the score at 9-5. It was hits galore as guys like Alex Freeland also contributed with some solid at-bats. Dodger Pride! 
Let’s give it up for our Dodgers for maintaining their focus and hard-earned victory despite the altitude and bustling home crowd in Colorado! With performances like this, we can’t help but feel optimistic about the rest of the season. Keep flying our Dodger blue high! On to the next game, and as always—Go Dodgers!
