A Great Start with a Thunderous Lead-Off Blast
What a way to kick off the game!
️ Our very own Zach Neto sent the Angels' faithful into a frenzy with a massive solo homer to right-center on the very first pitch! Talk about setting the tone early on! With superb patience, Mike Trout drew a walk, and soon after, Yoan Moncada singled to drive him in, putting us comfortably ahead 2-0 right from the get-go. 
Dominant Pitching and Building the Lead
Our pitching staff was rock-solid, keeping the formidable Dodgers lineup scoreless through six innings. The Angels' bats came alive in the 5th inning to further widen the gap. Mike Trout came through once again with a clutch single, knocking in Zach Neto and Bryce Teodosio, making it 4-0. Better yet, Yoan Moncada and Gustavo Campero added to the onslaught, pushing our lead to 6-0 by the inning’s end. Another blast from Zach Neto in the 6th put us comfortably up 7-0.
Holding Off the Late Surge for a Well-Deserved Victory
The Dodgers tried to mount a comeback, with Shohei Ohtani and Max Muncy hitting homers in the 8th to cut our lead to 7-4, but our bullpen stood firm. A special shoutout to Jansen, who came in for the 9th and efficiently shut down the Dodgers' last hope, clinching a satisfying 7-4 win for the Halos!
This was an all-around team victory with breathtaking plays and outstanding performances from start to finish. Let’s keep this winning momentum going, Angels!
