Dodgers Bounce Back for a Sweet 5-3 Victory
Fellow Dodgers fans, what a game! After a shaky start, our boys rallied back to claim a well-deserved 5-3 victory over the Phillies!
Phillies Capitalize Early
The game started rough for the Dodgers with J.T. Realmuto putting the Phillies on the board with a two-RBI triple. A sacrifice fly by Harrison Bader gave the Phillies a 3-0 lead by the end of the second inning. However, credit to our pitching staff for putting the brakes on their offense and keeping it close.
Dodgers Rise and Shine
Our comeback began in the sixth inning with clutch hitting from Enrique Hernández, who nailed a double to plate Freddie Freeman and Tommy Edman, cutting the deficit to 3-2. The momentum shift was evident! And how about that seventh inning, huh? Teoscar Hernández absolutely launched one to right center for a three-run homer, scoring Andy Pages and Will Smith. What a moment!

Locking it Down
Our bullpen did the rest. Tyler Glasnow, Alex Vesia, and the closing arms kept the Phillies at bay, striking out batters and sealing the win. Despite a bit of tension in the eighth, our defense held steady, taking us through to the 9th inning with still a 5-3 lead.In the ninth, the pressure mounted when Max Kepler doubled, but Stott fouling out secured the W for the Dodgers! What a way to close it out!

In all, an impressive fight back for the Dodgers. Here's to more games like this one!
