A Battle Until the End
It was a nail-biting game tonight as our Seattle Mariners took on the Los Angeles Dodgers. The game kept us on the edge of our seats from start to finish! Despite a valiant effort, we couldn't quite seal the deal. The Dodgers edged us out with a 5-3 win, but there were definitely some bright spots worth highlighting from our Mariners.
Strong Offensive Moments
One of the highlights of the game was the 5th inning, where we took the lead thanks to Jorge Polanco's powerful homer, bringing home Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodríguez. It was a moment that electrified the crowd and reignited our hopes! Randy Arozarena put up a great fight too, reaching base multiple times and showcasing some impressive base-running.
️Pitching and Defense Highlights
Though the Dodgers managed to slip past us late in the game, our pitchers put on a commendable performance. Logan Gilbert and Andrés Muñoz both showed moments of dominance on the mound, and our defense worked hard to keep things tight. Unfortunately, E. Hernandez of the Dodgers managed to seal the victory for LA with a crucial double in the 9th.Despite the loss, the game was packed with action and excitement.
