Marlins Strike Early and Keep Pressure On

Resilience Under Pressure
In response to the Mariners' rally in the 6th inning with Jorge Polanco's homer narrowing our lead (scoring 3 runs), our pitching staff held their ground! Tinoco's introduction to relieve Quantrill was decisive, and a gutsy play led to Luke Raley being caught stealing. And let's give a round of applause for our bullpen, who cooled off Seattle's intentions of a comeback!

Marlins Seal the Deal
In the top of the 8th, Agustin Ramírez sealed the victory with a sky-high homer to extend the lead further to 8-4. Our guys looked calm and composed, with the defense backing them up in the bottom of the 9th, preventing the Mariners from mounting any final attempts at a comeback. With Henríquez securing the mound, we managed to close out the game with poise. Trout in center, Liam Hicks, and Jesús Sánchez were all crucial tonight. Another fantastic win for our Marlins. Let's keep riding this momentum!
