A Rollercoaster Ride in Arlington 
Well folks, the Texas Rangers sure gave us a nail-biter last night against the Miami Marlins, but unfortunately, we wound up on the wrong end of a 6-4 defeat in a 12-inning marathon. The game started with both teams locked in a pitcher's duel, with neither side able to scratch across a run in the first inning.
Jung and Tellez to the Rescue!

We finally got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd when Josh Jung reached on an infield single, allowing Joc Pederson, who had previously doubled, to score. Things looked promising, but the bats fell silent as our guys couldn't add more to the tally despite some good opportunities. Fast forward to the bottom of the 10th inning when Rowdy Tellez, pinch-hitting for Jonah Heim, came up huge! He smacked a monster 425-foot homer to right-center, tying the game at 3-3 and sending our fans into a frenzy!
Extra-Inning Heartbreak 
The game went into extras with both teams locked in at 3-3. The Marlins squeezed ahead in the 12th inning, scoring three runs to take a 6-3 lead. Our boys fought back, with Jake Burger hitting a sacrifice fly to center to bring home Ezequiel Duran, narrowing the gap to 6-4. Joc Pederson walked, giving us hope, but ultimately Adolis García grounded out to end the game, leaving us just short of a thrilling comeback. It's always tough to swallow losses like this, especially in extras, but you've got to love the fight our team showed! We'll get them next time. Go Rangers!
