Victory in Extras! Brewers 6, Reds 5! 🟡🔵

What a nail-biter! Our Milwaukee Brewers came out on top in an 11-inning showdown against the Cincinnati Reds, with a final score of 6-5. The game was electric and kept us on the edge of our seats until the very last pitch. Let's break down the action!

Early Nerves: Turang Kicks Things Off ⚾️

We got off to a solid start in the 2nd inning, thanks to Brice Turang's RBI double that drove in Caleb Durbin after his single. The Reds' defense helped us out with an error that put Steward Berroa at second, but unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize further. William Contreras and Andrew Vaughn made great efforts, holding that slender lead until the 6th.

The Reds Strike Back, But Brewers Persevere 💪

The Reds had a comeback attempt in the bottom of the 6th with homers by Ke'Bryan Hayes and Spencer Steer, which put us behind 2-1. The tension was thick, but we never lost faith! The 9th inning had us biting our nails, especially when Brice Turang managed to score off Sal Frelick's fielder's choice to even the score, 2-2.

Brewers Seize the Moment in Extras! 🏆

The 10th inning saw another tie, but Brewers magic came alive in the 11th! Kudos to Andruw Monasterio, whose miraculous 3-run homer brought Durbin and Turang home, pushing us to a 6-3 lead. Though the Reds mounted a challenge, with Noelvi Marte's solo homer and Santiago Espinal's sac fly trimming the lead, our relief led by Archer Mears closed the deal.

What a game, Brewers fans! Moments like this remind us why we love baseball. Let's carry this momentum forward! 🧢🙌
