Reds' Early Struggles
It didn't look good for our Cincinnati Reds as the Brewers took an early lead in the top of the first inning. Despite a quick score by Milwaukee, courtesy of a single by Christian Yelich, our bats were quiet early on. The first inning saw TJ Friedl, Gavin Lux, and Elly De La Cruz all failing to make a connection. By the end of the second inning, the score remained 0-1, with the Reds still searching for their first hit.Reds Turn It Around in the Fourth
The fourth inning turned out to be a game-changer for us! After Milwaukee extended their lead with a home run by Sal Frelick, it was time for the Reds to launch a comeback. Elly De La Cruz doubled to center and Tyler Stephenson stepped up to deliver a two-run homer, tying the game at 2-2. It was a much-needed boost for the Reds and got the home crowd roaring.

Late Game Drama
The game remained deadlocked until the seventh inning when Connor Joe came in clutch with a sacrifice fly that brought Jake Fraley home, pushing the Reds ahead 3-2. Will Benson further sealed the victory for us with a solo home run in the eighth, giving the Reds a 4-2 lead.

It was a true team effort with key performances when it mattered most. Let's hope the Reds keep the momentum going! Go Reds!
