Angels Secure Victory Over Brewers!
What a thrilling game from start to finish, Angels fans!
Early Brewers Lead
The game started a bit rough for us with the Brewers taking a 2-0 lead in the top of the 2nd inning. Willy Adames walked, then Jake Bauers hit a homer to right, bringing Adames home. But our boys didn't let that phase them!Comeback in the 3rd
In the bottom of the 3rd inning, we fought back hard. Jo Adell got a walk, and Luis Guillorme hit a triple to bring Adell home. Nolan Schanuel then singled to right, allowing Guillorme to score. Mickey Moniak reached first on a throwing error, and Taylor Ward's sacrifice fly brought Schanuel home, putting us ahead 3-2.Neto's Homer in the 4th
Our momentum carried into the 4th inning where Logan O'Hoppe reached on an infield single, and then Zach Neto blasted a homer to left center (404 feet) scoring both himself and O'Hoppe. That power play extended our lead to 5-2. Way to go, Neto!
Solid Defense and Pitching
The Brewers tried to fight back, with Brice Turang hitting a homer in the 5th inning, but our defense and pitching were rock solid. José GarcÃa struck out Turang to end the 7th inning threat, and Matt Moore and Carlos Estévez closed out the game with impeccable pitching.Closing it Out
In the final inning, Carlos Estévez retired the side, ensuring no further runs for the Brewers. Rhys Hoskins and Sal Frelick were both retired, and we held firm till the final out. A fantastic team effort!
Final Thoughts
Big shoutout to our guys Nolan Schanuel, Luis Guillorme, Zach Neto, and of course, the fantastic pitching staff. This win was a total team effort and a great showcase of our strengths both offensively and defensively. Let's keep this momentum going! Go Angels!
