A Rollercoaster Game

Oh, Brewers fans, what a heartbreaker it was yesterday! The Milwaukee Brewers faced off against the San Diego Padres in a nail-biting match that went all the way to the 11th inning. The final score? A close 5-4 victory for the Padres.💔

Strong Start for the Brewers

We started strong, especially in the 2nd inning when William Contreras walked and Andrew Vaughn and Isaac Collins were on base. Caleb Durbin came through with a clutch single that brought Sal Frelick home. Then, the highlight play from Christian Yelich as he pushed Collins and Vaughn into scoring position before making it himself to third. What a moment to see the Crew lead 3-1! 🙌

Padres Battle Back

The Padres didn't back down, though. A homer from Jose Iglesias in the 5th inning and some strategic plays later in the 7th brought them back to a tie. However, our guys fought hard and a fielder's choice by Frelick in the 10th inning brought us the lead. But baseball fans know too well, it's never over 'til it's over! ⚾

A Tough Ending

The game went into the 11th inning where a mix of strategic play and perhaps a bit of luck for the Padres saw them clinch the win. Freddy Fermin's single to center brought in the winning run, proving to be the nail in the coffin. Though the Crew didn’t pull through for a win this time, we've got plenty more games ahead and more opportunities to cheer for our Brew Crew! Onward and upward, Brewers! 💪💙🧢

Let's keep the faith, Brewers fans! Until next time! 🍺
