A Slow Start for the Braves

As an Atlanta Braves fan, today's game was an emotional rollercoaster 🎢. Things looked grim from the outset, as we couldn’t find a way to get on the board in the early innings. Our bats were silent through the first four innings, while the Minnesota Twins crept up to a 4-0 lead. Trey Larnach's homer in the third inning left us hanging our heads, but we weren't giving up just yet 💪.

The Braves Start to Fire Up

In the fifth inning, Jarred Kelenic gave us a glimmer of hope with a towering home run to center field, narrowing the gap. The score was now 4-1, still in favor of the Twins. It was a whisper of momentum slowly building, and our faith in the team was rewarded in the eighth inning 🏟️.

A Braves Comeback for the Win!

The bottom of the eighth was when things truly turned around. Marcell Ozuna walked, and Matt Olson followed up with a single that inspired the rest of the lineup to seize the moment. After a flurry of strategic plays and singles by Ozzie Albies and Michael Harris II, the game was tied at 4-4. The crowd roared in delight 🎉! The cherry on top? Drake Baldwin stepped up and sent a clutch single to center, bringing home two more runs for a 6-4 lead. The top of the ninth saw Raisel Iglesias close it out with authority, giving us the victory ✨.

It's days like today that remind us why we love baseball and our Braves so dearly. What an incredible comeback from our boys! 👏⚾️ Braves Country, let's keep this momentum going!
