Great Pitching Dominates the Day
What a game, Tigers fans! Our boys in Detroit secured a solid victory against the Minnesota Twins with a 3-0 win. The pitching staff was simply outstanding, shutting out the Twins and making it a quiet day for their bats. 
Kerry Carpenter Breaks the Ice
The excitement began in the bottom of the 1st inning when Kerry Carpenter launched a majestic homer to right center, covering 399 feet! This swing set the tone for the rest of the game, giving us an early lead that we never relinquished.
Riley Greene Adds to the Lead
The Tigers bats continued to heat up in the 4th inning with Riley Greene taking it upon himself to generate some fireworks. Greene smashed a homer to right center, clocking in at 381 feet, increasing our lead to 2-0.
Carpenter Strikes Again
By the 5th inning, Kerry Carpenter wasn't done! After a hit-by-pitch gave Colt Keith a spot on base, Carpenter stepped up to the plate and delivered a blistering triple to right, allowing Keith to score. Our lead swelled to a comfortable 3-0.
Sealing the Victory
With a solid defense and impeccable pitching, our Detroit Tigers held off every attempt by the Twins to score. Special kudos to our relief pitchers who kept the shutout intact. Let's keep this momentum going, Tigers!
