A Slow Start but a Strong Finish

Our beloved Minnesota Twins took on the Los Angeles Angels in an electrifying game today that saw our boys from Minnesota claim a solid 12-3 victory. Initially, both teams were feeling each other out, with neither scoring in the first inning. Austin Martin and Matt Wallner faced tough pitches but kept their spirits high. The Angels got close to scoring when Zach Neto reached third, but Taylor Ward couldn't capitalize on the situation.

Taking the Lead and Never Looking Back

In the second inning, Trevor Larnach showed his patience at the plate and set the stage for Royce Lewis, who hit a jaw-dropping two-run homer to put us on the board! However, the Angels quickly responded with three runs of their own, and it seemed a nerve-wracking contest was in store. But the Twins weren't going down, as Luke Keaschall brought home Austin Martin in the third, leveling the score. Then, in the fifth inning, Lewis delivered again with another two-run home run, putting us back in the lead! 🎉

Unstoppable Momentum to the Finish Line

From the sixth inning onward, our boys dominated the game. James Outman smacked an amazing 440-foot homer in the sixth, growing our lead to 6-3, and our bats didn't cool down. The Angels' defense faltered with a series of errors, allowing us to extend our advantage to 9-3 by the end of the eighth. The ninth inning was simply the cherry on top, as Wallner and Keaschall contributed to an impressive final blitz, securing a whopping 12-3 victory! Our pitching staff also deserves major kudos, shutting the Angels down for the rest of the game and sealing our triumph. 🎈🎊

Can't wait to cheer on the Twins again! Go Twins! 💪⚾
