Tough Night for the Braves
Despite a late rally, the Braves fell short against the Mets in a high-scoring game with a final score of 12-7. It started off slow for Atlanta, as the Mets took an early lead in the second inning, with hits by Brett Baty, Tyrone Taylor, and Hayden Senger driving in runs. Our guys couldn't quite find their rhythm as Jurickson Profar got hit by a pitch, but none of the Braves were able to capitalize.Acuña Jr.'s Homer and a Glimpse of Comeback
In the 4th inning, Ronald Acuña Jr. blasted a solo homer to center for 427 feet, giving us hope.
Braves' Late Rally
The 8th and 9th innings showed the fight in our team! Ozzie Albies and Vidal Bruján kicked into gear, and Profar delivered clutch at-bats, bringing in runs. Even when it seemed all was lost, the heart of the Braves shone through. The duo of Profar and Acuña Jr. cut down the deficit, but sadly, time ran out before the comeback could be completed. While the scoreboard favored the Mets, the Braves displayed grit and determination with a late push!Although it wasn't the win we hoped for, the enthusiasm among Braves fans was palpable through the game. Onward and upward, Braves fans—let's get them next time!
