A Tough Battle at Oracle Park
Hey, Giants fans!
Tough game last night, but our boys put up a good fight. The Mets managed to edge us out 5-3, but not without some exciting moments and a solid performance by our squad. Let's dive into what happened.Starting Strong with Matt Chapman
Matt Chapman really brought the heat with two massive homers, showing off that power he’s well-known for. In the bottom of the 4th, his first bomb to left center tied the game 1-1. Then, in the 5th, another moonshot to center put us ahead 3-2!

Unfortunately, the lead slipped away in the 7th inning. The Mets unleashed back-to-back homers from Ronny Mauricio and Juan Soto to bring the score to 4-3. The Mets added an insurance run in the 9th with Brandon Nimmo's double, and despite our efforts in our half of the inning, we couldn’t overcome the deficit.
Onward and Upward
Despite the loss, Willy Adames delivered with some timely hitting, and we saw strong individual performances across the board. Shoutout to Jung Hoo Lee and Heliot Ramos for their resilience at the plate in the final inning. Remember, this is just one game in a long season, and we're still in the fight! Onward to the next!
