Yanks Show Orioles How It's Done in Extras!
What a game, Yankees fans! Our boys in pinstripes traveled to Camden Yards and delivered a spectacular performance against the Baltimore Orioles, securing a thrilling 7-1 victory in extra innings. This one sure had us on the edge of our seats as late-inning drama unfolded, but our guys executed big time when it mattered most.
A Slow Start for Both Teams
It was a pitching duel right off the bat as neither team managed to score through the first four innings. Both starters were locked in, and the defenses were sharp. Unfortunately for us, Samuel Basallo of the Orioles broke the ice with a solo homer to right in the 5th inning, giving Baltimore a fleeting 1-0 lead. But have no fear, our Ben Rice came through in the 6th to bring home Trent Grisham and tie the game with a clutch single. Our bullpen kept the Orioles quiet, paving the way for some late-game fireworks.
The 10th-Inning Show
And oh boy, did we see fireworks in the 10th! With the game locked at 1-1, Ben Rice stepped up to the plate and smashed a three-run bomb to right-center, sending Grisham, Aaron Judge, and himself home. Then, Jazz Chisholm Jr. followed suit with a solo homer to right.

Defense Seals the Win
Huge props to Camilo Doval closing the game on the mound, ensuring the Orioles couldn't mount a comeback. While they threatened with some baserunners, Ryan Mountcastle's strikeout by Doval was the final out to put the game in the books.
Our Yankees showed resilience, determination, and a touch of flair that only our boys have. Today, Yankees pride was at its finest, and we all get to enjoy the sweet taste of victory once again! Let's keep the momentum rolling!
