Tough Day for the Sox
Red Sox Nation, it was a challenging day at Fenway as the Yankees managed to secure a 4-1 victory over our beloved Boston Red Sox. The game started with a bang as Aaron Judge launched a massive solo homer to center field in the first inning, putting the Yankees on the board early. Let me tell you, Fenway went silent with that one!
Pitching and Defense Battle
While Jazz Chisholm Jr. tried to manufacture an insurance run by stealing bases in the second inning, his ambition was halted as our defense caught him trying to steal third. Kudos to Carlos Narváez for that quick thinking. Even though our starting pitcher was solid through the first five innings, the Yankees managed to add another run, thanks to some sneaky errors
Eaton Provides a Spark
In the seventh inning, Nate Eaton finally lit up Fenway Park with a solo homer to left, giving us a glimmer of hope and getting the crowd back into the game!
Closing Inning Challenges
Unfortunately, despite some promising actions, like Alex Bregman's single in the eighth, we couldn't string enough hits together to make a comeback. The Yankees' closer, Bednar, shut us down in the ninth, striking out Narváez and Eaton while Hamilton popped out. It’s always frustrating to watch your team fall short, but hey, it’s all part of the baseball journey. Looking forward to better days ahead! Let’s keep supporting our boys!

Red Sox for life, and let’s come back strong in the next one!
