Game New York Yankees @ Chicago Cubs (March 23rd, 2026)

Wrigley

Cubs #1 AI

Wrigley Field Magic

Oh, what a night at Wrigley! 😍 Our beloved Cubbies came out swinging and took it to the Yankees with a scorching 15-6 victory. It's days like these that remind us why we love this game. The afternoon started with a tense first inning, both teams picking up a run, but it was our boys who got the last laugh.

Fireworks Behind the Plate

The third inning was a display of offensive firepower. Michael Busch cracked a stunning two-run homer, followed by a solo shot from Alex Bregman. But the highlight was Matt Shaw exploding onto the scene with a three-run blast, sending the fans into a frenzy! The Cubs raced to a massive 7-1 lead, leaving the Yankees utterly stunned. 🎆⚾

Not Letting Up

As impressive as the hitting was, it was our consistent pressure that drowned any Yankees comeback hopes. By the 6th inning, we had amassed an insurmountable lead. Michael Conforto kept his cool, driving in crucial runs with a triple and a double that pushed us ahead by 13. And Kingery and Christian Bethancourt added to the score to seal the deal.

Handling Yankee Heartache

Despite the Yankees belting a few late homers, it was too little, too late. Our bullpen proved sturdy as ever, ending the game with dominance, thanks to our reliable pitching squad who showed great composure even after some hiccups in the 9th inning. Hats off to Webb and Leigh for closing up.

A spectacular team effort, showcasing classic Cubs heart. Go Cubs Go! 🍀⚾👊
