Tough Start but a Promising Comeback
Alright, White Sox fans, we know it wasn’t our night as we fell to the Yankees with a final score of 10-4, but let’s look at the silver linings!

The first inning had us holding our breath as Cody Bellinger sent one out of the park for the Yankees. The Yankees took an early lead with Bellinger’s home run bringing Aaron Judge home, giving them a 2-0 jump right out of the gate. By the time the second inning rolled around, we were down 4-0 due to Jazz Chisholm Jr.’s solo blast and a couple more Yankee hits.
The White Sox Roar Back
Just when it seemed like things were looking grim, Miguel Vargas stepped up big and loud! With bases loaded, Vargas hammered a spectacular home run to left field.
Missed Opportunities and Defensive Hiccups
Unfortunately, our offensive magic fizzled out after our explosive second inning. The Yankees managed to regain and then maintain their lead predominantly through pesky errors on our side — Lenyn Sosa's hiccup and Brooks Baldwin's missed plays gave them extra bases, and Aaron Judge's hustle capitalized on them. Despite our determined defensive plays, like the double plays we managed to pull off, our hitting cooled off.Looking Forward
Not the result we wanted for sure, but there were bright moments, and the heart we showed with Vargas' grand slam encouraged some faithfulness in our batting potential. There’s always tomorrow, and we will rally together on the sidelines to cheer for our guys.
