Twins Dominate the Yankees in Minneapolis!

What a game, Twins fans! Our squad showed up ready to play and completely shut down the Yankees, clinching a 7-0 victory. In a game that started slow, our team kicked it up a notch in the latter innings. It was a classic example of pitching, defense, and timely hitting coming together perfectly. Shaky Start But Stellar Finish
Early in the game, both teams struggled to get on the board. Byron Buxton, Austin Martin, and Luke Keaschall all tried to put some numbers up in the first inning but came up empty. However, as the game progressed, we began watching that scoreboard light up! In the bottom of the 3rd, Jhonny Pereda got things rolling with a double, and thanks to Martin grounding into a fielder's choice, the first run crossed the plate!Explosive Seventh Inning 
The action really picked up in the bottom of the 7th. Trevor Larnach came in clutch as a pinch hitter with a double and then promptly scored on Brooks Lee's double. Three more runs followed thanks to another daring double by Austin Martin! Luke Keaschall capped off the inning by driving in Martin, putting the Twins ahead 7-0 against a shell-shocked Yankees' bullpen. The pitching staff held strong all night, with Ohl closing the door on New York in the 9th.It was an excellent win for our Twins, displaying both power and finesse against a formidable opponent. A clean sweep today with not a single Yankee going home with a hit after the 5th inning, thanks to our fantastic defense! Keep that Twins Pride strong, fans—our team is on fire!
