What a fantastic game for us Pittsburgh Pirates fans! The Buccos showed up strong against the New York Yankees, delivering a commanding 9-1 victory at home. It was an all-around team effort with standout performances that kept Yankee bats eerily quiet. Let's break down the key moments!Explosive Third Inning 
The game ignited during the bottom of the 3rd inning when Billy Cook smashed a homer to right-center, putting us on the board with a 1-0 lead. But wait, there's more! Oneil Cruz followed up with a thrilling three-run homer, sending Ji Hwan Bae and Adam Frazier home, pushing our lead to 4-0. This barrage of hits set the tone and had us cheering in excitement.Extending the Lead 
The Pirates didn't stop there! In the 4th inning, Ji Hwan Bae doubled, bringing in DJ Stewart, and shortly after, Adam Frazier doubled to drive in two more runs with Bae and Cook crossing the plate. Our bats were on fire! Nick Gonzales joined the party by doubling to center, scoring Cruz and Frazier, bringing the lead up to 9-1.Lockdown Defense and Pitching 
Kudos to the Pirates' defense and pitching staff for keeping the Yankees at bay. While the Yankees' Trent Grisham managed a solo homer in the 4th inning, it was their only meaningful score of the game. The pitching rotation, with roles from Holderman, Ramírez, and Shugart, kept the Yankees' lineup in check, demonstrating excellent control and strikeout abilities.Fans at the game got to see a preview of what this season could hold, with consistent hitting, solid defense, and superb pitching.
