A Tough Start But A Great Fight
The game kicked off with a tough start for us as the Yankees took an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning. After Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger got on base, Jazz Chisholm Jr. launched a 3-run homer to give the Yankees the lead. But, not to be undone, our very own Addison Barger got us on the board in the bottom half with an RBI single scoring George Springer.
The Middle Innings: Trading Blows
The middle innings saw a pitcher’s duel with both sides keeping the score stable. We saw flashes of brilliance, especially from George Springer who had a standout game with a crucial single in the 5th inning and another in the 6th that helped us rally back to tie the game at 4-4. The crowd was electric as Davis Schneider doubled allowing Myles Straw to score, and Springer again came through in the clutch. Can't overstate his impact on this game! The Heartbreaker in the 9th
The game remained tied into the 9th inning, where unfortunately, Ben Rice delivered the decisive blow with a solo home run, putting the Yankees up 5-4. We had a chance with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. reaching base in our last at-bat, but it just wasn't meant to be today as we couldn't capitalize. The team fought hard, and even though we didn't get the W, there were a lot of positives to take away. We'll get 'em next time, boys!

Overall, it was a valiant effort from our Blue Jays, showing heart and resilience till the end. Let's keep our heads held high and come back stronger!
