Following a strategic walk for Brent Rooker, Miguel Andujar smashed a single to bring in Soderstrom, granting the A’s a 1-0 lead. Jacob Wilson and Luis Urias later helped pad our lead, with Wilson scoring a critical run in the 7th and Urias adding a comfortable gap with a sacrifice fly in the 8th to seal the deal at 3-0.
Defensive Brilliance
Our pitching staff delivered a masterclass in controlling the Rangers' lineup! Soderstrom and the rest of the bullpen kept Texas at bay with efficient outs and strategic plays. The defense was flawless, with outfielders covering ground and infielders making timely plays. The highlight of our defense: an unexpected double play from A. GarcÃa lining out, causing momentary panic in the Rangers' dugout. Solid teamwork and execution from our guys until Miller closed the game impeccably in the 9th inning.
