Tough Loss at Dodger Stadium
The Los Angeles Dodgers faced off against the Philadelphia Phillies at home, and though our boys fought valiantly, the Phillies took home the win with a final score of 9-6.

Strong Start for the Dodgers
Things looked promising for the Dodgers right from the start of the second inning. Alex Call and Enrique Hernández launched homers into the outfield, giving the Dodgers the lead at 3-0. By the end of the 4th, Tommy Edman's sacrifice fly extended the lead to 4-0, and the team seemed to be riding high.
The Phillies Fight Back
Unfortunately, the 6th inning turned the tides. The Phillies unleashed an offensive barrage, starting with Bryce Harper's double and Brandon Marsh's three-run homer. As if that wasn't enough, Max Kepler followed with a solo shot to put the Phillies up 6-4. That inning gave the Dodgers a wake-up call, but it was a tough blow to recover from.
Ohtani's Heroics Not Enough
Our own Shohei Ohtani showed why he is a star, hitting a solo homer in the 8th inning, bringing us closer at 6-5. Call tied the game with a sacrifice fly, making it anyone's game heading into the 9th inning with a tied score of 6-6.

Heartbreaking Finish
The 9th inning was a nail-biter, but Rafael Marchán's three-run homer dashed our hopes of a comeback. The Dodgers couldn't answer back, despite several key players stepping up all game.

It was a tough game, but there's always the next one! Let's keep our heads up and look forward to more winning moments. Go Dodgers!
