A Winning Start Thanks to Turner and Kepler
Wow, what a game! The Philadelphia Phillies triumphed over the Miami Marlins with a stellar final score of 5-2. From the very beginning, our boy Trea Turner set the tone with a massive homer to center field in the top of the 1st inning!
Kepler and Co. Extend the Lead
As the innings rolled by, both teams showed fierce competition. In the 4th inning, Max Kepler hit a rocket to right field for a 389-foot homer, which propelled us to a 2-1 lead.
Epic 7th and 9th Innings Secured the Victory
The 7th inning saw Brandon Marsh showcase his speed with a daring triple followed by Trea Turner's single which scored Marsh, extending our lead 3-1! By the top of the 9th, it was Alec Bohm time. Bohm delivered with a clutch single that brought in Rafael Marchán and Brandon Marsh, securing the final 5-2 score.This was truly a team effort with standout performances all around. The bullpen performed magnificently, maintaining the lead and shutting down Miami's attempts to catch up. Congratulations to the Phillies for a well-deserved win!
