Phillies Walk It Off in D.C.! ⚾️

Wow, what a rollercoaster of a game! Our Philadelphia Phillies came through with a thrilling 7-3 victory over the Washington Nationals this afternoon. It was a hard-fought battle right into extra innings, but our guys showed their resilience and brought home the win.

Thrilling Home Runs Light Up the Game! 💥

The game remained a pitcher's duel for the first few innings, with neither side budging—until Keibert Ruiz homered in the fifth, putting the Nationals up 1-0. Our Phils weren't about to back down, though. In the top of the seventh, Bryce Harper blasted a 415-footer to center, tying the game at 1-1. Only a moment later, Kyle Schwarber smashed another homer, sending us ahead 2-1. Those bombs really lit up the energy from our guys on the field!

Extra Innings, Extra Excitement! 🙌

After a tight back-and-forth, with the Nats tying it at 3-3 in the eighth, we headed into extras. And boy, did our boys deliver! Alec Bohm stepped up big in the 10th, driving a double that brought Harper and Bryson Stott home, putting us up 5-3. J.T. Realmuto followed with a clutch triple, adding two more insurance runs. It was a game of nerves and tension, but our relief corps held strong to close it out. What a way to end it, Phillies 7, Nationals 3!

Let’s keep this momentum going! 🎉 Onward to the next win, Phils fans! 🚀
