Strong Start
The game had an electrifying start. After the Pirates got on the board first, scoring in the top of the 1st inning due to a single by Andrew McCutchen, the Orioles quickly responded. Jackson Holliday led off with a single and moved to third after Jeremiah Jackson singled to right. With Ryan Mountcastle's sacrifice fly to center, Holliday sprinted home to even the score at 1-1 by the end of the 1st inning.Pitching Duels & Clutch Homers
Both teams saw strong pitching performances as the game remained locked at 1-1 through the 5th. Credit to our pitchers who kept the Pirates silent! But the true fireworks came in the bottom of the 6th, when Jeremiah Jackson blasted a solo home run to right, sending Camden Yards into a frenzy and putting the O's up 2-1!

Final Showdown
Despite Tommy Pham's homer for the Pirates in the 9th allowing them to tie the game, our Orioles stayed unfazed. The 11th inning was the ultimate showdown where Ryan Mountcastle singled, and with intentional walks loading the bases, Samuel Basallo came through with a clutch single to left field, bringing home Gunnar Henderson for the winning run! Our Birds showed grit and determination to pull off this extra-inning victory.
