In the eighth inning, Jhostynxon Garcia tripled, and Yordany De Los Santos secured another run to extend their lead to 5-3. Our boys fought hard to close the gap, with Kerry Carpenter tripling in the sixth and our lineup producing several promising opportunities, but we couldn't overcome their defense. The game ended with a 5-3 victory for the Pirates.Even though it was a tough loss today, we have to commend Austin Slater for his clutch performance and the rest of the team for their efforts.
