Our Minnesota Twins went head-to-head against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and what a thrilling game it was!
Second Inning Fireworks
The game truly came alive in the second inning when Kody Clemens ignited the field with a massive 3-run homer, sealing the deal with 389 feet to the right!


Third Inning Dominance
In the third, the Twins continued pouring on the heat, with Buxton and Castro tearing through the Pirates' defenses. Trevor Larnach hit a smooth sacrifice fly to bring Buxton home again. The scoreboard began to paint a dominating picture, as the Twins ended the third inning with a 9-0 lead!
Pirates Fight Back, But Can't Catch Up
The Pirates attempted a rally in the fourth and fifth innings, scoring three runs—one thanks to an error and a solo shot from Jack Suwinski. Minnesota Twins fans were treated to a spectacle when Byron Buxton and Willi Castro unleashed back-to-back home runs in the seventh inning, pushing the lead to 12-3.

Closing It Out
The Pirates couldn't keep up as the Twins' pitchers, including the steadfast Misiewicz and Topa, kept them at bay. The final inning saw the Pirates attempt to crawl back, but our defense stood firm. Jack Suwinski couldn't deliver, marking the end with a powerful strikeout. Our Minnesota Twins emerged victorious with a triumphant 12-4 final score!
