Thrilling Victory in the Big Apple!
What a game, Pirates fans! Our Buccos took on the New York Yankees and emerged victorious with a nail-biting 4-3 win. The game was electric from the start, and the Pirates showed true resilience and team spirit to edge out the Bronx Bombers.Battle of the Innings
After a slow start, the Pirates made a breakthrough in the 2nd inning. When Joey Bart and Joshua Palacios found themselves in scoring positions and thanks to a fielder's choice and a throwing error from the Yankees' Jazz Chisholm Jr., both runners scored, giving us an early lead! Despite a homer from Yankees' Trent Grisham, which tied the game, our bullpen stood strong, keeping the Yankees at bay throughout the game. The Decisive 9th
With the game tied at 2-2 in the top of the 9th inning, Darick Hall stepped up and smashed a monumental two-run homer to right center, taking the Pirates ahead 4-2 and sending our fans into a frenzy! Although the Yankees tried to rally back in their half of the inning with Dominic Smith launching a solo homer, our relief pitcher Flowers shut down their advances, sealing the much-deserved victory for the Pirates.Cheers to a well-fought game! Let's keep the momentum rolling, Bucs!
