What a thrilling game today at the Rogers Centre as our beloved Toronto Blue Jays managed to edge out a win against the Pittsburgh Pirates with a final score of 2-1. It was the type of game where every play mattered, and our team showed great resilience and determination to get the W. 
Key Plays and Highlights
The game started out with both teams struggling to gain any momentum offensively. However, everything changed in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Our Will Wagner doubled to left, followed by Ernie Clement reaching on an infield single, pushing Wagner to third. This set the stage for Nathan Lukes, who came through with a clutch single to left, bringing Wagner home and giving us our much-needed first run! As if that wasn't enough, Clement capitalized on a wild pitch to add another run to our tally.The Pirates made it tense by bringing one home in the 6th inning with a sacrifice fly, but our pitching and defense made sure that was their only run of the game.
Pitching Shines Bright 
A shoutout to the Blue Jays' bullpen, who showed incredible composure and skill throughout the game. While the Pirates had opportunities, our pitchers consistently came through in the clutch, including a crucial relief performance from Little who stopped the Pirates from snowballing their momentum. And let's not forget Garkow coming in strong to close the game and seal the victory!Final Thoughts
