What a game, Astros fans! 
Our Houston Astros emerged victorious against the San Diego Padres with a final score of 6-4 in an electrifying encounter at Minute Maid Park. Let's dive into the highlights of this exhilarating win.Cam Smith Leads the Charge
The game began with a lot of anticipation, and it was the Padres who struck first, scoring in the 2nd inning. But, never count out our Astros! In the bottom of the 2nd inning, Cam Smith blasted a three-run homer to left center, driving in Yainer Diaz and Jake Meyers. That clutch 403-foot home run gave us a 3-1 lead! In the 4th, Smith struck again with another home run, extending the lead to 5-2.
Resilient Defense and Stellar Pitching 
Trevor Gusto and the bullpen, including Richard King and Bryan Abreu, delivered fantastic outings, keeping the Padres in check. Despite the Padres' Luis Arraez two-run homer in the 7th, our pitchers ensured that momentum stayed with the Astros, getting crucial outs when needed. Josh Hader sealed the deal in the 9th, shutting down the Padres' final comeback attempt.Jake Meyers' Heroics and Altuve's Consistency 
In the bottom of the 8th inning, Jake Meyers showcased his hustle with a crucial RBI single, bringing in Jeremy Peña to give us that extra cushion, making it 6-4. It’s always a pleasure to watch Jose Altuve, who contributed with consistency, going 2-for-4 and setting the pace, including a cheeky bunt single in the 1st inning.What a game and what a win for the Astros!
