A Tough Loss in Detroit
The San Francisco Giants faced off against the Detroit Tigers in a game that was a real nail-biter from start to finish. Unfortunately, despite some moments of great play, the Giants came up short, losing 3-1.

Defensive Plays and Missed Opportunities
On the defensive side, our pitching staff kept the Tigers under control early on, with Birdsong managing to navigate through some sticky situations in the 1st inning. However, the 4th inning saw a moment of tension as Dillon Dingler took advantage of a throwing error by Luis Matos, allowing the Tigers to take a 1-0 lead.

A Glimmer of Hope and the Final Innings
Our Giants got on the board in the top of the 6th inning when Wilmer Flores singled to center, driving in Matt Chapman.
