Giants Dominate the Astros 7-2
What a game, Giants fans!

Early Momentum for the Giants
After a quiet start for both teams, with neither side scoring in the first inning, the Giants began to find their rhythm in the 2nd. Heliot Ramos reached second after a fielder's choice and stolen base, setting the stage for Wilmer Flores to drive him home with a clutch single to left field. That two-out RBI was crucial in giving us our first run of the game.
Flores Lights Up the Scoreboard
The top of the 5th saw Mike Yastrzemski get things rolling with a single, showcasing some nifty base running to steal second. Tyler Fitzgerald followed with a well-placed bunt, advancing Yastrzemski to third, who was then brought home on LaMonte Wade Jr.'s sacrifice fly. Just like that, Giants up 2-0! But the real explosion came in the 6th inning. After a walk by Jung Hoo Lee and another walk for Patrick Bailey, Wilmer Flores stepped up and smashed a three-run homer!

Astros Play Catch-Up, But Giants Shut the Door
The Astros made a push in the 8th inning, scoring two runs off Isaac Paredes' double. However, our bullpen quickly shut down any hope of a rally. Heading into the 9th with a solid 5-2 lead, Matt Chapman extended that advantage, driving in Willy Adames and Jung Hoo Lee to add another two runs. Ryan Walker preserved the lead by closing out the bottom of the 9th.

All-Around Team Effort
A huge shoutout to every Giant who contributed today! Wilmer Flores was the MVP with his four RBIs, including that spectacular home run. Our pitching staff was lights out, delivering a combined performance that kept the Astros at bay for most of the game. This victory was not just won at the plate, but also with stellar defense and smart base running.

Keep your heads up, Giants fans! With performances like these, there's plenty to be excited about. Let's carry this momentum forward!
