A Strong Start for Philly
What a game, Phillies fans!

Defense and Pitching
Our pitching staff and defense held strong through the middle innings. Although there were a couple of fielding hiccups with Turner having a couple of miscues, our pitchers showed resilience. Sánchez was in fine form through five frames, fending off most threats, despite giving up a 2-run homer to Matt Chapman in the 6th. But hey, what’s a game without a little drama, right?
Closing it Out
Into the 8th, after Schwarber and Harper showcased their sharp base-running on a couple of errant pitches, Edmundo Sosa came through with a clutch sacrifice fly to give us an insurance run. In the final frame, Alvarado held his nerves, even after conceding a solo shot to Tyler Fitzgerald, finishing the night with the save. Our boys fought hard and showed why the Phillies are a team to be reckoned with!
It's games like these that make being a Phillies fan so exhilarating. Let's keep this momentum rolling – Go Phils!
