Early Lead, Late Heartbreak
We had a fantastic start, folks!
In the top of the 1st, we jumped to an early lead thanks to a beautiful single from Julio Rodríguez followed by another single from Randy Arozarena. The highlight was the fantastic double by Mitch Garver that brought Arozarena and Rodríguez home, putting us up 2-0. 
We extended our lead in the 3rd inning when Solano drove Rodríguez in, making it 3-0. Everything was looking great, and the spirits were high!
The Comeback Begins
Things started getting tense in the bottom of the 3rd. Isaac Paredes, Jose Altuve, and Christian Walker all contributed to bring the score to 3-2, but our defense managed to hang on. Throughout the 5th and 6th innings, both teams fought hard, and the tension in Minute Maid Park was palpable. It was tied 3-3 at the end of the 6th inning, a nail-biter for sure!
A Tough Loss
We held the line into the 9th, with both teams locked at 3-3. Unfortunately, things took a dramatic turn. Jose Altuve singled, and then Christian Walker hit a heart-wrenching two-run homer in the bottom of the 9th to bring the score to 5-3, in favor of the Astros.
Despite the result, our Mariners played hard with some stellar plays and managed to keep it tight until the last inning. We win together, and we lose together! Onto the next game, and fingers crossed we'll turn it around! Always proud of our team!
